Birth Control Consultation & Options
At Quick Gyno, we offer a comprehensive range of birth control options to meet the diverse needs of our patients. Each method varies in effectiveness, usage, and side effects.

Pills: Oral contraceptives taken daily to prevent ovulation.
Patch: A transdermal patch worn on the skin that releases hormones.
Vaginal Ring: A flexible ring placed in the vagina, releasing hormones over a month.
Injectable: A hormone shot given every three months.

Intrauterine Devices (IUDs): T-shaped devices inserted into the uterus, available in hormonal (e.g., Mirena) and copper (e.g., Paragard) options, providing protection for several years.
Implants: A small rod placed under the skin of the arm that releases hormones for up to three years.

Condoms: Male and female condoms provide a barrier to prevent sperm from reaching the egg and also protect against STIs.

Tracking ovulation and menstrual cycles to avoid intercourse during fertile periods.

Pills: Options like Plan B or Ella can be taken after unprotected intercourse to prevent pregnancy.
Copper IUD: Can also be used as emergency contraception when inserted within five days after unprotected sex.
